Jill Stein, the Green Party’s 2012 Presidential Nominee and the winner of the 2016 ILGP Presidential Preference Voting, last week brought to Illinois her message of People, Planet, and Peace Over Profits.
Dr. Stein spoke on the campus of the University of Illinois in Champaign (article), presented as a part of the ECCE Speaker Series at the University of Illinois in Springfield, interviewed with the Springfield NPR affiliate (interview audio), interviewed in Springfield with All That’s Left (photo and interview audio), met with supporters at the Abraham Lincoln Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Springfield (photo), spoke with supporters on the north side of Chicago (video), and spoke at the ILGP’s State Convention and Dinner in Chicago. At the dinner, Rich Whitney surprised us with yet another demonstration of his many talents–a very humorous break from a full day of otherwise serious work (video).
