The Illinois Green Party’s 2026 ballot access drive has begun!
Greens are poised to shake up the system. We are the vehicle for real change. But we need your help to get on the ballot and give Illinoisans a real alternative choice!
Our candidates will be traveling the state in the months to come, so keep an eye on your email for upcoming events. Our candidates are looking forward to learning what matters to you most and bringing your voice to the halls of power. Greens run to serve the public and embody the principles of democracy. Together we can change everything – through community, direct action and electing people who are already on your side.
The time for asking permission from those in power is over!

Illinois has some of the most repressive ballot access restrictions in the country/world. Depending on the race, third party candidates must collect between 5 and 25 times as many signatures in order to appear on the General Election ballot compared to their opponents in the Democratic and Republican Parties. In order to get our state-wide candidates on the ballot, we need to collect 25,000 valid signatures in 90 days (February 25 – May 26, 2026)! This means that we need your help to ensure that Illinoisans have a real alternative on choice in races across the state this fall!

Our platform is built on community empowerment, justice, and sustainability. We’re committed to policies that uplift working families, the working poor, and low-income communities — groups that have been ignored for far too long — while protecting our environment and ensuring every Illinoisan has access to the resources they need to thrive.

Green for Secretary of State
I believe we need candidates that serve the people of this state, not the donors that bought them. As the Secretary of State my goal would be to ensure that each residents’ data is secure and their privacy is protected. As we navigate into a new era of AI fraud and scams and government surveillance, data security and privacy is more important than ever. In addition, I want to improve the ease and efficiency of DMV’s and Emission testing and ensure everyone continues to have safe access to libraries. I would also like to help get back to books in schools where too much of the learning is dependent on screens.
Platform Priorities/Proposals:
- Eliminate any non-essential data collection.
- Stop the push for digital ID’s.
- Ensure that Illinois does not become a kill switch state.
- Introduce biennial registration renewal.
- Aid lower income individuals with costs of maintaining emission compliance.
- Restrict minors from checking out x-rated books.
- Assist schools with books to reduce dependency on screentime due to well being concerns.

Platform Priorities/Proposals:
- Ensure fiscal accountability. If we are to have a living, breathing constitution and ensure accountability to the people of Illinois, then our elected seats should not be held by one party for a long time. I believe that we owe it to ourselves, as a people of Illinois, to elect a new party to ensure fiscal accountability.
- Advocate for the Absolute Freedom to Boycott. Currently, the state prohibits certain companies from their investment list due to the companies’ decision to boycott. We should not be placing restrictions on those who choose to boycott. Boycotting is a basic freedom and we need to work together to stop the government from placing these restrictions on companies.
- Encourage green-friendly investment relationships. Continuing the same-old way is just not sustainable. Air, water, and soil are needed for all of us and for our future generations. We have seen it time and time again that these needs are not being considered. We need to protect our environment with safe investments that will take air, water, and soil seriously.

I was born & raised in the Northern suburbs of Chicagoland, & am proud to call this community my home. I know firsthand what it’s like to have to go through the Lake County Health Department, to rely on snap for food, to have your water shut off because you couldn’t pay the bill, to have to stay with friends & family because you can’t afford a home of your own, to have to skip meals, and all the tangible struggles many here face everyday. I will be an unwavering advocate for your rights because unlike the disconnected ruling class, your rights & my rights are connected. You & I both know how huge affordable housing would be for the younger generation. You & I both know how ineffective & costly our current healthcare system is. You & I both know our education system is falling behind its international peers. You & I both know those in Congress are serving lobbyists & their own pockets instead of the people. You & I both know we need better upkeep of roads, better walkability, as well as increased frequency of our train & bus systems.
Platform Priorities/Proposals:
- Term Limits for Congress
- Advocate for Ranked Choice Voting
- Ban all Gerrymandering
- Medicare For All
- Abolish ICE
- Anti-War
- Enshrine Environmental Rights in our Constitution
- Hold the ruling class accountable for violating the law
- Overturn Citizens United & get money out of politics
- Green New Deal
