Congratulations to ILGP/Shawnee Green Party member Joshua Hellmann on being appointed to the Kinkaid Reeds Creek Conservancy District Board!
The board, founded in 1963 and representing the 13 townships of Jackson County, is responsible for overseeing Kinkaid Lake, which serves as a reservoir and water source and recreational area for the surrounding area in Southern Illinois.
Regarding his appointment Joshua said. “It’s an honor to have been appointed to this position, and I’ll do my utmost to serve the people, protect the environment, and represent our party and cause with distinction.”
