Christopher Kruger is running for Illinois State Representative (District 17) as a Green! Evanston attorney Christopher Kruger has represented plaintiffs in constitutional and civil rights cases; he has long been an advocate for employees and consumers, helping over a hundred Illinois families during the Foreclosure Crisis. Prior to becoming an attorney at the age of fifty, he was a lifelong anti-war, civil rights, and labor activist.
Chris is running in the Green Party to become your state rep in the 17th district. As your representative, he will provide a corporate-free, independent voice for Illinois families, serve as a watchdog on the corruption of the two major parties, and support an agenda of Clean Air, Clean Water, Clean Food and Clean Energy to fulfill the promises of the Twenty-first Century.
Chris is not beholden to special interests, nor is he afraid to take on the challenges of the COVID Pandemic and the concurrent economic crisis, which is certain to have profound effects on all Illinoisans, including those in the 17th district in the coming months.
Chris' corporate-free, people-powered campaign accepts no money from political action committees, corporate interests or lobbyists.
STAND UP AND BE COUNTED
Christopher needs registered voters in the Illinois 17th State Representative District to sign his electronic petition. Due to a recent court order this e-petition can be used instead of a traditional paper ballot petition, because of the restrictions against in-person petitioning under the Governor’s Covid-19 Executive Order.
To sign Christopher’s e-petition, all you have to do are these three easy steps (which should only take a minute or two):
- (optional) You can verify that you are registered to vote and/or whether you reside in the district. If you’re a registered voter you will be provided a list of all your voting districts. Make sure your State Representative District is 17. Still not sure if you are a registered voter in Christopher’s district? Contact him, see details listed below.
- (optional) Review the Rules for Signing Ballot Petitions.
Note that each registered voter in your family can separately click on the above link to e-sign the petition.
We can always use help spreading the word or volunteering on the campaign trail! If you’d like to volunteer for or donate to the campaign, please contact Christopher.
Thank you for your continued support!
