The Illinois Green Party’s Presidential Selection Vote is underway! ILGP members can cast a vote online until March 16!
As a “new” party in Illinois, the Illinois Green Party is not allowed to participate in the state-sponsored primary election. As such, we have to run our own Presidential Selection Vote. Starting with our 2024 Spring Convention, the online vote will last two weeks and is open to all dues-paying ILGP members. The results of the vote will be proportionally distributed to determine the allocation of the Illinois Green Party’s delegates to the Green Party US Presidential Nominating Convention.
